Paddy is a playwright, poet, children's author, and performer.  She was in her first play, Time Out For Ginger, when her mother, Tessa, was four months pregnant with her.  Since then, she has been involved in theatre in one way or another, most recently performing in The Vagina Monologues.  She discovered the play really was the thing in 1999.  Since then, she has had a one act, White Noise, two ten minute plays, Sanguine Sonata and Comic Strip and two shorts One Tender Lie and In Tense City, produced in Canada and the USA.  Shaking the Dew from the Lilies made its wildly successful début in November of 2002.

Paddy is an associate member of The Playwrights Guild of Canada and on the board of trustees for The International Centre for Women Playwrights (ICWP). She has belonged to Theatre & Company's Writer’s Bloc, for four years, and is now a member of The Alumnae Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
